2OO7 - 2OO8
AdorationDear Deviants,
This 2OO7 was a great year. I finally got the place and status at my career and school, and a lovable and productive relationship with my 'family'.
It had its losses, but I consider it was a year of successful activities, personal growth and learning.
We adopted a new babygirl. Her name is Muffin and she is a purebred Exotic cat. She's gorgeous!
I finished 5° semester at Medicine School with higher grades than I would have ever imagined.
This 6° semester (which starts on February) would be the last semester of basic Medicine. After this one, I'm gonna be studying more specific subjects (pediatrics, OB/GYN, neurology, psychiatry, etc...).
Of course I'm ONLY 6 more semesters from finishing my career... You know, a blink of an eye!
Since I'm on vacations/holidays, and I DO want to feel productive, I borrowed a camera and started going to my Mum's vet.
At first I was reluctant. I thought humans were way better than animals.
As you probably assume, we're not. And they are more graceful.
I've learned to love and care for animals...
But the most important thing is that I got to see exciting surgeries and exotic diseases! I even learned to put stitches on a dog's eye!
Most of the time, I carry the camera and I do not get to participate.
It's a challenge to be there taking photos. Everything goes sooo fast, we're working against the clock, so no one has time to pose. Most of my exciting shots, I'm sure, wouldn't be considered as artwork.
I'm thinking a LOT whether to post my work here or not. Maybe you'll find it revolting, maybe you'll find it offensive because of the lack of "art". I don't know.
What do you think? Should I? Would you be interested?
I'll start submitting non-hardcore/cute shots, but I warn you, there are only a few of those.
